Special Recognitions

Awarded annually, Special Recognition Awards honor excellence in service to the NSCA, its journals, or in specific areas connected to strength and conditioning. These awards are not voted on by members or by the Board of Directors. Instead, they are determined by application or nomination by a specific party.

Presented by the "Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research" Editor-in-Chief, this award recognizes the service of editorial members on the JSCR Board.

SPECIAL RECOGNITION SELECTION

Special Recognition Awards each have their own selection criteria and recipients are chosen based on factors unique to each award. The awards committee is not involved in the selection of special recognition awards, nor is there a nomination process. The awards are conferred during the NSCA National Conference in July.
