Insurance Options

Professional Liability Insurance

We offer Certified Professional Liability Insurance (CPI) to NSCA Certified Members (student and professional) in the U.S., Canada, and U.S. Territories. You must be certified through the NSCA as a CSCS or NSCA-CPT to qualify for this coverage. If at any time the certification and membership lapses, liability coverage will cease.

Limits of Coverage

$2,000,000 in General and Professional Liability-Bodily Injury/Property Damage ($1,000,000 primary + $1,000,000 excess)
$2,000,000 in Products-Completed Operations ($1,000,000 primary + $1,000,000 excess)
$2,000,000 in Personal and Advertising ($1,000,000 primary + $1,000,000 excess)
$5,000 in Medical Expense (excluding participants)
$2,000,000 in Sexual Abuse and Molestation ($1,000,000 primary + $1,000,000 excess)

Professional Liability Insurance for Non–Certified Members

If you are currently an NSCA member, living in the U.S., but not certified through the NSCA, please contact Hagan Benefits at 800-456-0737 or visit http://www.hagangroup.com/nsca.asp for information on rates and coverage.

Additional Insured

The Additional Insured program is designed to name a facility that a member is working out of. This will cover the facility in the case where both the Insured and the Facility are named in a lawsuit. Additional Insurance is offered at $50 per facility. Please call the NSCA at 800-815-6826 or email insurance@nsca-lift.org for further information. This coverage is NOT for a studio that you own, rent, or lease.
