  • NSCA Programs
    The NSCA offers four programs - the Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach (RSCC) Program, a registry of experienced and qualified coaches; the Recognized Certified Personal Trainer (RCPT) Program, which recognizes accomplished personal trainers; the NSCA Assistantship and Internship Program, dedicated to providing qualified students and young professionals with hands-on experience; and the Education Recognition Program (ERP), which recognizes regionally accredited academic institutions.
  • prgm_rscc Foundations of Coaching Lifts
    The NSCA’s Foundations of Coaching Lifts: Hands-on Approach to Coaching Lift Progressions Certificate Course lays the groundwork for teaching athletes and clients how to properly perform the bench press, push press, power clean, and squat. Led by some of the best in strength and conditioning, this course covers exercise application, lift progressions, and coaching cues.

    prgm_rscc *NEW* Recognized Certified Personal Trainer (RCPT) Program
    The NSCA's new RCPT program recognizes professionals who are employed full-time as personal trainers in either a corporate gym setting, personal training studio, or privately owned facility. These personal trainers have a minimum of two years of experience in the practical application of assessing, motivating, educating, and training clients to achieve their health and fitness goals.

    The NSCA's RSCC program is comprised of individuals who are not only experienced coaches, but who have demonstrated the practical application of foundational knowledge to assess, motivate, educate, and train athletes for the primary goal of improving sport performance.

    prgm_erp Education Recognition Program (ERP)
    The NSCA Education Recognition Program (ERP) recognizes and distinguishes schools with standardized, approved strength and conditioning or personal training curricula in undergraduate and graduate settings designed to prepare students for the NSCA-Certified Personal Trainer® (NSCA-CPT®) and NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist® (CSCS®) certifications.
