    The National Strength and Conditioning Association’s Performance Center offers comprehensive performance enhancement training to club and university athletics, professional organizations, private corporations, and personal fitness.

    We offer comprehensive performance enhancement training to club and university athletics programs, professional organizations, private corporations, tactical athletes, and personal fitness enthusiasts.

    Athletes
    The Performance Center staff has experience working with athletes training for youth baseball all the way to the Olympic Games. Athletes, sport coaches, strength and conditioning coaches, athletic trainers, and administrators may utilize our services to assist with:

    • Individual, team and/or small group-based training
    • Athletic performance assessments
    • Injury prevention
    • Progressive program design specific to sport, position, training age and/or level
    • Off-Season and In-Season programming
    • Previous training program analysis and recommendations
    • Pre- and post-training assessments (performance and strength testing)
    • Movement preparation (i.e., pre-practice, pre-training, pre-game warm-ups)
    • Proper movement skill training, including deceleration techniques
    • Linear and lateral speed training, including acceleration and top-end speed development
    • Agility and footwork training
    • Power and plyometric training


    Tactical
    The Tactical Strength and Conditioning (TSAC) program is designed specifically for operators and facilitators who train military, law enforcement, fire, and first responder groups. The TSAC program is designed to optimize mission and job performance by combining cutting-edge research, proven training methods and field experience to reduce injury risks while increasing strength, power, speed, agility, and aerobic and anaerobic fitness. The TSAC program focuses on injury management and prevention and preparation for physical tests, specialized units, and advanced selection courses.

    Groups that have prescribed to the TSAC program at the Performance Center have encountered the following benefits:
