Session Descriptions

The profession of law enforcement has faced increasing scrutiny and oversight over the past several years, adding to the pressures already faced by officers. • Understand the unique challenges and pressures faced by today’s law enforcement officers.
  • Get firsthand insight into the culture and environment of law enforcement and correct common myths held about police work.

Firefighting professionals face increased pressure to do more with less, placing stress on both resources and personnel. This session will provide attendees the opportunity to:

  • Understand a “day in the life” of the fire rescue professional, dispelling myths about the profession and understanding current-day expectations.
  • Gain insight on how to approach fire rescue leadership with strength and conditioning offerings.
