During this presentation, we'll review nutrition recommendations and guidelines for fueling for exercise: Fueling Up, Fueling Through, and Refueling. Participants will gain insight into which carbohydrate sources to utilize before and during exercise, fuel options for optimal recovery, and when to refuel to make the most of exercise. |
2:00 PM - 3:30 PM Performance Cycling - Moving Through the Cycles of Training and Performance (lecture + hands-on) by Cal Dietz, MEd, CSCS This presentation will highlight the method of performance cycling for the structuring of workouts for athletes. Then we will rethink the structure of your workouts for athletes. Most programming foundation is from weightlifting powerlifting and bodybuilding.
