Micah Kurtz is the Assistant Athletics Director/Director of Strength, Conditioning & Athletic Development at Windermere Preparatory School. Prior to that he was the Director of Strength and Conditioning at AC Flora High School, which won 14 state championships in 5 years. In this role, Kurtz has developed the school’s first ever school-wide strength and conditioning program, and created a school-wide culture of vitality and fitness which includes not only student-athletes, but also the faculty, staff, parents, and community. He also serves as the Strength & Conditioning Consultant Coach to the 9 time high school basketball champion Oak Hill Academy. Kurtz was named the NSCA National High School Strength & Conditioning Coach of the year in 2016 and the South Carolina High School Strength Coach of the year in 2013 & 2014.
