Jacob Wilson is an Assistant Professor and oversees the Strength and Sports Nutrition Laboratory at the University of Tampa. Wilson’s research has covered the cellular, molecular, and whole body changes in muscle size, strength, and power in response to resistance training and nutritional supplementation interventions. On these topics, he has published over 150 peer-reviewed papers, book chapters, and abstracts. Wilson has recently established a new graduate program at the University of Tampa dedicated to sports nutrition and has previously been awarded the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Terry J. Housh Young Investigator of the Year award.
