Sterling Richards is currently pursuing a PhD in Health and Human Performance from Concordia University Chicago. With over a decade of experience as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), his focus has been to develop improvements in strength and function in the older and frail population. With a goal to maintain independence and high quality of life in the elderly, he hopes to focus his research on establishing functional and practical ways of increasing physical activity in the elderly. In January 2019, Richards began as an Adjunct Professor in Exercise and Sports Studies at Benedictine University in Illinois.
