Vu Nguyen earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritionand Fitness, Graduate Certificate in Public Health, and Master ofEducation and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Health Educationand Promotion all from the University of Missouri. He holdsnumerous certifications, including the Certified Strength andConditioning Specialist (CSCS) and National Strength andConditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Personal Trainer(NSCA-CPT) through the NSCA, Physical Activity in PublicHealth Specialist and Exercise is Medicine through the AmericanCollege of Sports Medicine (ACSM), Group Personal TrainingSpecialist (GPTS) and Fitness Nutrition Specialist (FNS) throughthe National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and BehaviorChange Specialist and Fitness Nutrition Specialist through theAmerican Council on Exercise (ACE). He is faculty with the PublicHealth Program and Department of Health Sciences in the Schoolof Health Professions at the University of Missouri, and with theCommunity Health Program at Columbia College of Missouri.
