Paul is a Professor of Strength and Conditioning and program leader for the Masters degree in Strength and Conditioning at the University of Salford. Paul is a CSCS*D with the NSCA and a founder member and accredited member of the UKSCA. He is also an adjunct Professor at Edith Cowan University, Western Australia. Paul is a senior associated editor for the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research. He has extensive experience working with a variety of professional and semi-professional sports teams, has co-authored >150 journal articles and editor is joint editor of the textbooks Advanced Strength and Conditioning: an evidence-based approach and Performance Assessment in Strength and Conditioning.
