Whitney Moore, CSCS*D is an Assistant Professor of Kinesiology at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. She was the Chair of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Exercise and Sport Psychology Special Interest Group (SIG) from 2014 2019. She was the Guest Editor for a special issue of the Strength and Conditioning Journal, focused on psychology in the strength and conditioning domain. She has published in the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research. She earned her PhD in the Health and Psychology of Physical Activity from the University of Kansas. Prior to her PhD, she was the Founder and Head Coach of Moore Training, a company focused on developing youth athletes athleticism and reducing their injury risk.
