Erika Hernandez has obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from California State University, Fullerton, and is currently obtaining her Master’s degree with an emphasis in Strength and Conditioning at California State University, Fullerton. Hernandez has conducted research involving female law enforcement recruits and their physical fitness percentile ranks, the difference in physical fitness of recruits from smaller versus larger agencies, and the physical fitness levels of graduated versus separated law enforcement recruits. In addition to her tactical research, Hernandez is currently a strength and conditioning coach for high school athletes within the Fullerton Union High School District in California for sports including women’s softball and soccer, and men and women’s swim, water polo, cross-country, track, and volleyball.
