Megan McGuire graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. She is a master’s student at California State University, Fullerton with an emphasis in Strength and Conditioning and is currently the Assistant Lab Director for the Human Performance Lab on campus. McGuire’s research has investigated physiological characteristics of wildland fire suppression aid recruits during academy training. She has also conducted research into the health and fitness characteristics of deputy sheriffs and custody assistants. She plans to continue working alongside tactical populations with hopes of optimizing health and performance.
