The owner of Optimal Fitness: Professionals in Health and Human Performance, which is a strength & conditioning company that has locations in The Beach House (an indoor sand volleyball facility), The Lexington Performance Center, The Quin House Boston (a social club), and various corporate wellness sites. His main focus is speed & agility camps for athletes, corporate site management and in-home personal training. He is the former Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Boston Celtics (NBA) for 14 seasons and in 2016 was nominated by his peers as the NBA strength coach of the year. He has trained athletes in all of the major professional sports and Olympic medalists ranging from volleyball to snowboarding. Doo has consulted for various teams in the NHL, EPL, WTA, and Serie A, with his role varying per team/club. The scope of work covered the hiring and organizing of high performance departments, training specific athletes and creating content (video and programs) for the teams specific needs. Bryan also was the director of wellness at Harvard Business School and frequently was a guest lecturer at Brown University in their exercise physiology department. He is known to be an eloquent speaker regarding sports & athletic development, injury prevention and team training at local and national conferences. Also, he has been a consultant for the National Basketball Players Association (3 years), Bose (3 years) and New Balance (10+ years) on various projects dealing with innovation, biomechanics, HR monitoring and wellness education. He and his wife Brianna have 6 children and live in the Boston area.
