Rhett Rigby is an Associate Professor in the School of Health Promotion and Kinesiology at Texas Woman’s University in Denton, TX. He also serves as the co-director of the Institute for Women’s Health, an exercise and sport nutrition laboratory, at Texas Woman’s University. Rigby completed his Doctoral degree at Baylor University in Waco, TX, in Kinesiology, Exercise, Nutrition, and Health Promotion. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering. He is a Certified Special Population Specialist® (CSPS®) and National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Personal Trainer® (NSCA-CPT®) through the NSCA. Rigby has written nearly 50 articles, book chapters, and abstracts related to the physiological and biomechanical responses to physical activity in various populations.
