Geralyn Coopersmith holds a Master’s degree from Columbia University and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist® (CSCS®). Coopersmith is currently the Chief Content Officer for Flywheel Sports. In that role, she is responsible for defining and evolving the fitness experience, ensuring quality control and supervising over 400 instructors in 42 studios nationwide. Additionally, she is in charge of defining the experience of the new Flywheel Anywhere at-home product launching in early 2018. Before joining Flywheel, she was the Global Director of Performance and Fitness for Nike. In that role, she supervised the re-launch of the Nike Training Club app and led the strategic reset and upskilling of the more than 700 trainers in the worldwide Nike Trainer Network. Prior to her work with Nike, she was the Senior Director of the Equinox Fitness Training Institute for over 9 years where she redefined the educational content and process for all Equinox trainers, launched the Equinox Academy training program, and provided on-going continuing education for over 2000 trainers in 70 clubs in North America and the United Kingdom. Coopersmith served as the resident fitness expert on national two television shows and has been featured on numerous television shows including The Today Show, CBS Morning Show, and The Doctor Oz Show. She is the author of Fit and Female: The Perfect Fitness and Nutrition Game Plan for Your Unique Body Type.
