Call for Abstracts

2008 NSCA Abstract Submission Process:

  1. Download and read the document entitled NSCA Research Abstract Submission and Presentation Guidelines. Authors must follow the abstract submission guidelines on pages 2 – 6 (Sections I – IV).
  2. Download and complete the 2008 NSCA Abstract Submission Form. Incomplete information will delay the abstract review.
  3. E-mail the completed 2008 NSCA Abstract Submission Form as an attachment to Joel T. Cramer (jcramer@ou.edu) by March 1, 2008, at 5:00 PM CST.

Technical Difficulty Completing the 2008 Abstract Submission Form?

Microsoft Word 2003. To complete the “2008 NSCA Abstract Submission Form”in Word 2003, follow these directions:

  1. Open the Microsoft Word 2003 application.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  3. Click the Security tab.
  4. Click on the button that says Macro Security.
  5. Click the “Medium” security feature.
  6. Exit the Microsoft Word 2003 application.
  7. Now open the 2008 NSCA Abstract Submission Form. You should receive a prompt window about Macros Security. Click on Enable Macros.
  8. Now you should be able to edit and save the form.

Microsoft Word 2007. To complete the “2008 NSCA Abstract Submission Form” in Word 2007, follow these directions:

  1. When you open the “2008 NSCA Abstract Submission Form” in Word 2007, there will be a menu bar at the top that says: “Security Warning: Some active content has been disabled. Options…”
  2. Click on the “Options…” button.
  3. There will be a prompt that says: “Security Alert – Macros & ActiveX”
  4. Click “Enable this content.”
  5. Now you should be able to edit and save the form.
