The NSCA Education Recognition Program (ERP) recognizes regionally accredited academic institutions for their educational programs that have met, and continue to meet, educational guidelines recommended by the NSCA. Online and hands-on
programs are offered to teach coaches to implement standardized testing, safe
and effective strength training and conditioning programs, nutrition programs
for athletes, injury prevention and reconditioning.
The Personal Trainer Program is intended to educate and train professionals working with a
wide range of clients to improve their fitness levels. EAS Sports Nutrition is the Lead Sponsor of the NSCA Personal Trainer Program.
Designed for tactical operators and tactical facilitators, the Tactical Strength and Conditioning (TSAC) program optimizes mission/job performance by combining cutting-edge research, proven training methods and field experience to reduce injury risks while increasing strength, power, speed, agility, and aerobic and anaerobic fitness.
The NSCA Registry of Strength and Conditioning Coaches is comprised of individuals who are not only experienced coaches, but who have demonstrated the practical application of foundational knowledge to assess, motivate, educate, and train athletes for the primary goal of improving sport performance. The Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach program is sponsored by Muscle Milk.
The NSCA has various
opportunities for strength and conditioning assistantships and on-site internships throughout the year.
To remain certified, the NSCA requires that each certified individual maintain current CPR certification and complete the Continuing Education Unit (CEU) requirements before December 31, 2014.

The NSCA offers Exam Preparation events for individuals preparing for the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), NSCA-Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA-CPT) and Tactical Strength and Conditioning (TSAC) programs.
Designed for high school-level strength and conditioning, this program presents the principles of conditioning and includes in-depth explanations of best practices and over 80 videos demonstrating proper techniques. This program is run in conjunction with the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS).
Recognizing that drug use in sport is a multi-factorial problem, the NSCA is committed to providing the most recent and applied information about illicit performance-enhancing drugs to strength and conditioning professionals, athletes, parents and coaches.
EAS and the NSCA have joined forces to launch the NSCA Sports Nutrition Education Program, designed to educate strength and conditioning professionals, coaches, and athletes on the importance of proper nutrition when striving to attain optimal performance results. The Sports Nutrition Program is sponsored by EAS Sports Nutrition.
