Round 1 Applications Are Closed
Two (2) Positions Available - Term July 12, 2024 - July 9, 2027
| Academician/Researcher Position Description This position may be filled by a qualifying member of the Association working at an accredited college, university, or institution for higher learning and is actively working as a researcher. Desired candidates for this position should hold a terminal or doctoral degree. |
Personal Trainer Position Description This position may be filled by a qualifying member of the Association primarily working in a Personal Training environment with the general population. Desired candidates for this position should hold NSCA-CPT credentials. |
Round 1 Requirements
Applicants are asked to submit a CV/Resume and a letter of intent (750 words or less) indicating their NSCA involvement, how they will promote and advocate for diversity, and why they want to serve on the Board of Directors by November 15th.
The Nomination Committee will review applicant materials, evaluate, and select applicants that have met the criteria to move forward to round two of application process. Applicant’s letter of intent will be evaluated on their responses to the above three items requested to be included in the letter. The Nomination Committee will notify selected applicants by December 15th to prepare the remaining application materials for Round 2.
