Michael Krackow is a Professor in the Department of Human Performance and Wellness and Director of the Exercise Science minor at Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, VA. He holds certifications from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator (TSAC-F). He is also a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) through the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) and Licensed as an Athletic Trainer and Physical Therapist Assistant in Virginia. Krackow earned his PhD from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Master of Education degree from University of Cincinnati, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Hofstra University. Prior to teaching at Virginia Military Institute, he was the Chair of the Rehabilitation and Wellness Department at Radford University Carilion in Roanoke, VA.
