Christopher Irvine is an Assistant Professor in the Health and Human Performance Department at Rocky Mountain College. He obtained his undergraduate and Master’s degrees in Exercise Science from Bowling Green State University. He went on to earn his PhD in Exercise Physiology from Texas Woman’s University. Irvine is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist® (CSCS®) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and is a Certified Sports Nutritionist through the International Society of Sports Nutrition (CISSN). Irvine’s main area of research is focused on examining different pre-exercise fueling strategies in order to improve exercise performance.
