Ernie Rimer is Director of Sports Science for University of Utah Athletics. Ernie Rimer currently serves the University of Utah Athletics as the Director of Sport Science. Beyond his role at the University of Utah Athletics, he is a sport science consultant for various elite sports authorities, as well as a Doctoral student in the University of Utahs Department of Exercise and Sport Science. Rimer expects to complete his PhD in 2016. His dissertation surveys a variety of concepts dedicated to enhancing sports performance and rehabilitation, including ergogenic aids, maximal power, fatigue, aerobic physiology, muscle respiratory capacity, repeated sprint ability, biomechanical asymmetry, and return to play.
