Sheyla Leon is a fourth-year undergraduate student at Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. She is an undergraduate research technician at the Exercise and Sports Nutrition Laboratory and supervises medical data analysts at Brazos Spine Medical Clinic. Leon is president of the Texas A&M Tactical Athlete Research Unit, where she uses her National Healthcareer Association Certified Phlebotomy Technician (NHA-CPT) license practicing phlebotomy on first responders. She hopes to attend medical school and become a physician.
