Jonathan Anning is an Associate Professor in Exercise Science at Slippery Rock University, where he teaches courses in biomechanics, resistance training, and research methods. He earned his PhD in Exercise Science with a Minor in Biomechanics from The University of Toledo, following a Master of Arts degree in Exercise Science and a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Sports Studies with an Exercise Science Minor from Central Michigan University. Anning is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with Distinction (CSCS,*D) and a Fellow of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (FNSCA). He has presented nationally on topics related to performance optimization and applied biomechanics, and has mentored students pursuing careers in athletic performance and rehabilitation sciences. His research interests include neuromuscular adaptations to resistance training and innovations in performance enhancement.
