Jonathan Ahearn is an Assistant Professor and Department Chair of Exercise Science at Gardner-Webb University, specializing in human performance, rehabilitation, and injury prevention. Ahearn earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina. He is a Licensed Physical Therapist (PT), Board-Certified Orthopaedic Specialist (OCS), and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Ahearn also has certifications in Spinal Manipulative Therapy (SMT) and Dry Needling (DN) through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy and is certified in Blood Flow Restriction Training (BFRT) through the University of Tennessee.
