Francis Kozub is the Department Chair for Kinesiology at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. He received his PhD at The Ohio State University in 1997. Kozub has been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Member since 2013. Prior to coming to Pembroke, Kozub trained powerlifters for New York State Special Olympic meets. He competed in both powerlifting and weightlifting and continues to train and work with athletes.
