Enhancing Performance Using the Critical Velocity Model

1. Background: Exercise intensity domains, aerobic & anaerobic fitness, first & second thresholds; 2. Overview: Current methods to quantify aerobic & anaerobic fitness and introduction to Critical Velocity. The session will also include how to calculate critical velocity using field data and how to use the model to quantify and enhance performance in endurance sports as well as in anaerobic and intermittent sports.
