We’ll examine how training decisions made early in an athlete’s journey influence durability, injury risk, adaptability, and lifelong performance. Emphasis will be placed on developing foundational movement skills, advocating for sport sampling, training to help athletes accelerate, decelerate, change direction, and absorb force safely—rather than simply chasing speed or output. |

The goal is to equip strength and performance staff with actionable strategies to better support female athletes, including how to recognize when something is abnormal, how to foster open and effective communication, and how to thoughtfully consider cycle-aware approaches to training without overgeneralizing. |
