Pearson VUE has begun opening test center locations on a limited basis. As long as there is not a mandatory Stay at Home order for your state, NSCA exams will resume and you’ll be able to see available test dates again.
SAFETY MEASURES | Please be advised, additional safety measures will be in place on the day of your exam. If your state requires a face mask to be worn when out in public, you will be required to wear one to be admitted to your exam. The following states require face masks to be worn: New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Alaska, Colorado, Georgia, Texas, South Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi, Texas, Oklahoma, and Ohio. (This list is subject to change).

If your authorization period is set to expire before June 30 and/or unable to schedule an exam before your authorization expires, please contact the NSCA Certification Department for a complimentary extension firstname.lastname@example.org and in the subject line, use Request for Extension.
If you are unable to take your scheduled exam, you can either reschedule or cancel your appointment no later than 24 hours in advance by logging in to your Pearson VUE account.
Yes. You should attempt to reschedule your exam through your online Pearson VUE account. The system will only allow you to book exams on dates that will be available for testing. There is no fee to reschedule your exam within your authorization dates.
For those that have passed one section and failed the other, you have one year to sit and take the second section. After one year, the passing score will expire. If your passing score is set to expire before July 30th, please contact the Certification Department in a timely manner so that arrangements can be made.
