NSCA FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES THE HAMMER STRENGTH - LIFE FITNESS EQUIPMENT GRANT FOR JUNIOR & COMMUNITY COLLEGES

Colorado Springs, CO — The National Strength & Conditioning Association Foundation is proud to partner with Hammer Strength - Life Fitness to launch a new grant that will help junior and community colleges enhance their training facilities.

The Hammer Strength - Life Fitness Equipment Grant will be awarded annually to an eligible institution that seeks to expand training opportunities for their enrollees and staff. The grant will provide up to $10,000 of new fitness equipment.

“We’re thrilled to present the 2021 Hammer Strength - Life Fitness Equipment Grant. This grant will help junior and community colleges enhance their training facilities and offer better fitness experiences for their student-athletes, students, and staff. We’re excited to provide these institutions with rugged and durable Hammer Strength equipment that will serve them well for years to come,” says Jeremy Wilson, National Sales Manager Education/Athletics at Life Fitness.

“Life Fitness would like to thank the NSCA Foundation for allowing us to contribute to this grant and we look forward to our ongoing partnership.”

While millions of students across the country are currently enrolled in junior and community colleges, the training facilities at these institutions often lag behind those of four-year universities. The Hammer Strength - Life Fitness Equipment Grant will help bridge this gap and democratize access to quality training equipment.

“The NSCA Foundation is excited to partner with Hammer Strength to provide funding for equipment to junior & community colleges. This grant is an exciting opportunity for our NSCA professionals who work with athletes at that level and will help improve the strength and conditioning experience for a large number of student-athletes each year,” says Dr. Nicole Dabbs, President of the NSCA Foundation.

Application for the Hammer Strength - Life Fitness Equipment Grant opens November 1st, 2021. Additional details and a link to apply will be made available at NSCA.com/Grants.

*Members of the Board of Directors, Grant Review Committee, NSCA and NSCAF employees and their families are not eligible to receive this grant.
