    Rick HowardRick Howard is currently working on his Doctorate degree at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. Howard is an Adjunct Instructor in Exercise Science/Strength and Conditioning at Delaware State University, Neumann University, Rowan University, Temple University, and West Chester University. His primary interest is presenting concepts of pediatric exercise science and active learning to sport coaches, physical education teachers, and those who wish to improve the lives of our young people.

    Julia Olsen DEJulia Olsen is an instructor at Delaware State University in the Public and Allied Health Sciences Department, teaching exercise physiology and sport and fitness nutrition courses, among others. In her spare time, Olsen works at multiple fitness centers in her area. Her interests include strength and conditioning and exercise physiology. 

    Maryland

    Phil Tran MDPhil Tran is the Head Football Strength and Conditioning Coach and Assistant Football Coach at the Gilman School in Baltimore, MD. Additionally, he is the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Mariner Swim Club, an elite co-ed club swim team in Baltimore for athletes ages 6-18. Tran is the owner of PT Strength, LLC and is a respected speaker on the topics of football, strength and conditioning, and leadership development. He was also a college football letterwinner at Baylor University where he earned First-Team Academic All-Big XII honors, Baylor Football Highest GPA awards, Big XII Commissioner’s Honor Roll recognition, and a post-graduate scholarship.

    New Jersey

    Joe LopezJoe Lopez is the New Jersey State Director. He was previously a part of the Advisory Board for the state of NJ.  Lopez has presented at both state and regional conferences on various topics of interest. He is the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at  Pope John XXIII High School in Sparta, NJ.  Lopez also works as a strength and conditioning coach at Precision Sports Performance.

    Keri KulikKeri Kulik is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health and Physical Education and a faculty member at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). At IUP, Kulik is the Graduate Education Coordinator for the Health and Physical Education MEd Program.

    Virginia/Washington, DC
    State Director: Sean Collins, PhD, CSCS

    Sean Collins VASean Collins is an Assistant Professor of Exercise Physiology at Lynchburg College in Lynchburg, VA. He is also the Director of the Walker Human Performance Laboratory and is charged with guiding and supervising laboratory and student research activities. Collins teaches courses in exercise physiology, laboratory techniques, and strength and conditioning.

    West Virginia

    Cisco ReyesGuy Hornsby is a Teaching Assistant Professor in Athletic Coaching Education at West Virginia University. His primary areas of emphasis involve strength and conditioning and applied sport science. He is currently the Head Coach of West Virginia Weightlifting.
