Course Format

The Foundations of Coaching Lifts course consists of:

  • Online, self-paced learning modules, and
  • One day of hands-on, active learning and assessment.

Each 1-day hands-on course is taught by experienced, credentialed instructors.

During the hands-on event, participants learn coaching technique, strategy, and how to improve movement through cues and feedback. Participants gain invaluable feedback on their coaching from fellow attendees and industry experts.

The final part of the day is dedicated to performance assessments. Participants will be evaluated on their ability to meet the learning objectives.

The Foundations of Coaching Lifts course is designed to help those coaches/ teachers who work with athletes on a daily basis. It will show the coach all the aspects of strength training from proper technique, flaws to look for, and how to make corrections. The course was developed by coaches who have worked at all levels for many years.
