  1. Understand the knowledge gap that exists between standards or metrics for medical clearance to return to duty and returning to full duty with no restrictions.
  2. Discuss the limitations with the current return to duty protocols/strategies.
  3. Understand how to select the most appropriate physical performance tests that may determine an individual’s ability to return to duty and succeed in a job without the potential for re-injury.
